Hopes and Aspirations for the 2nd XV
The new 2nd XV captain Lee writes:
For the coming season my Hopes and Aspirations are to focus on building a 2nd XV that has a more stable platform. I would like this to be achieved by having a core of players that play, train and socialise with the whole club. I would like to use a mixture of young and older players, so that the more senior players can pass on their own experience to the up and coming youth of the club, with the target of encouraging them to push and play for our 1st XV.
I would like to push the social side further with the 2nd XV too with nights out and fill days where we have no fixture with team building activities, also in any way supporting the 1st XV on coach trips to get the whole club’s camaraderie up.
My main goal for the end of the season will be to push for promotion and improve team camaraderie also making sure there is a solid base for the team to run through to the next season.
