British Lions Tour 2009 to South Africa The following have signed up Roger Trett Tony Falco George Redpath Andy Downing John MacMillan Dick Smith Ian Gibson Mike Griffith Tyrone Harold Brian Sayers and wife
The Tour will take place in late June early July 2009. Dates have to be finalized as does the Tour firms itinerary and final cost. At present we are estimating a cost for a 10/12/14 day package as £3,200.
This season there will be 10 Lunches for home League games and possibly First XV, second XV and Drifters lunches. The cost of the lunches will be £15 per head for a superb meal and wine on the table. You should contact Jonathan Bloomfield to book places for all lunches. Gentlemen's Dinner..... April 25th 2008.....7.00 for 7.45pm This year will be the third year that the Gentlemen's Dinner will be held at the Rugby Club in a Marquee. The event has been extremely successful in the last two years and numbers are growing. Catering will be by Pollyanna's so you will get The Suet Steak and Kidney Puddings that you have been crying out for. By holding the Dinner at the Rugby Club all profits from the wine and bar sales will come to the club. WE REALLY NEED YOU TO ATTEND THIS YEAR TO MAKE THE DINNER A GREATER SUCCESS THAN LAST YEAR Speaker this year is John Bentley, Comedian to be announced. The cost of tickets this year will be £30.
